 We have only three kids left out of our 2011 kiddings. Sophie gave birth to two bucklings on May 5th, 2011. These bucklings will be ready to go at 8 weeks of age. They can be wethered (castrated) if wanted for a companion goat, meat, or pack animal. Sophie's bucklings are 7/8 Alpine and 1/8 Oberhasli. These bucklings have a great genetic potential for passing on good dairy qualities.

Zeena is 50/50 Alpine and Oberhasli. She has been bred to an Oberhasli so that will make her offspring 75% Oberhasli.
Zeena is an excellent producer with over a gallon a day consistently.

Sophie is Zeena's  daughter out of an Alpine buck. Sophie has been bred back to an Alpine buck and is due early May. This is the first freshening for Sophie and already she has exceeded our expectations. She is giving us up to 7 lbs in one milking a day. She is still nursing kids during the day and is milked out in the mornings. We are very happy with how Sophie production.
