A friend has an "oops" litter out of her brown standard  poodle girl. Her poodle slipped out while in heat and the result is 8 adorable pups. The father or fathers are not known. There are two girl pups left. Go to our Rescue page for more info or call Tamara @ 907-262-5947

CH Whisper Ridge Charlemagne's Fire RN, Charlie, winning Group 1 in 2009. Owner Melody Newberry. Handler Stephanie Batchelder. Charlie earned three Group 1st and is a full brother to our Madeline.

 Our Madeline took a Best of Breed and a Group 4 at the Tanana Valley Kennel Club 2009 show to finish her championship. She also took WB and BOS another day of the shows.
 Madeline's full brother Charlie,  CH Whisper Ridge Charlemaignes' Fire RN CGC, took Best of Breed two days at these shows with a Group 1 and a Group 4. The Whisper Ridge Poodles had a wonderful weekend!
In June 2009 Charlie completed his Championship with a Group 1st! He is a splendid boy.
July  2009,one of Rose's pups, Opal, earned a BOV over two specials for her first major and points. Her brother, Mojo, finished his Canadian Championship in short order and is now known as Canadian CH Whisperridges Ricelake Gime' Sum. Mojo can be seen at standards2keep.com. 

Our kennel, Whisper Ridge Poodles, and home, Whisper Ridge Farm, is located on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula in South Central Alaska. We have enjoyed the majesty of nature and the down home feel of Alaska since moving here from Florida in 1998. 

Our Standard Poodles have been an integral part of our lives for the past 20 years. While our poodles are part of our family and treated as such; we are committed to producing poodles as close to the breed standard as possible. Accordingly we show our poodles in AKC shows, obedience,rally, and agility trials. We believe our poodles should be able to compete successfully in both the breed ring and in performance venues.

We also believe in producing as healthy a poodle as possible. All our breeding stock are tested for Hips-OFA or PennHip, Eyes-CERF, vWD-DNA, SA, Cardiac-CERF, NE, & Thyroid. While there is never a quarantee of  perfect health when breeding; we try our best to utilize all the current health testing available to reduce the risk of producing health problems.

Currently we have two Standards sharing our household. Princess Molly (CH Bowser's Princess Molly RN CGC) and Rose (CH Whisper Ridge Dream Rose RN). We co-own two other standards: Madeline (CH Whisper Ridge Call Me Madeline RN CGC) and Lady (LInda's My Lady). These two live with their families in our area. Another of our poodles, Willie (CH Vetset Ever Willing RN CGC) is residing in Montana with our grown son.
